If you are at the physical console of the box running this login message
then you are looking at one of several virtual terminals. The first one to
appear is tty1. You can have a login on each one, and switch between them
with alt simultaneous with the left or right arrow keys. You can switch to
a specific virtual tty with ctrl and alt and a function key. ctrl&alt&f2
will put you at the tty2 login prompt. tty2 has a special login wrapper to
allow specifying the console keyboard mapping before giving you the actual
login prompt. Go to tty2, input some junk as a login name, and you will be
asked if your keyboard is Dvorak or azerty.
In other words, to get to a non-qwerty login, do ctrl&alt&f2 and type in
some junk at the login prompt.

You're almost in. If login fails with a message about "can't change
to such-and-such" you probably forgot the rw specifier for a umsdos
filesystem.

login to cLIeNUX as r
(just "r", not "root")
