These are the Core C header files. They are included with and from the
kernel, libc, gcc and other subroutine libraries. You need these to
compile C programs. Header files in C describe what's in a library to the
linker, which is the last phase of compilation called by gcc.

Header files tell a program being compiled what variables, types, routines
and macros (text aliases) are available in the kernel and the standard
libraries. Every public routine in libc is represented in these files, as
well as other libraries. Keep these files in sync with your kernel and
libraries or almost nothing will compile. The asm and linux directories
are usually symlinks to the kernel source. That becomes an issue if you
play with various major kernel revisions on one box.

As in the kernel source dir, cLIeNUX puts symlinks in for the files that
cLIeNUX needs to have modified, symlinked to the cLIeNUX versions of the
same files. tar won't clobber a symlink, so one can untar stock stuff
over the cLIeNUX stuff and the standard stuff will "lose". This is
a problem if a standard version of a cLIeNUX-specific file changes.

Paths.h is particularly important to cLIeNUX. It has been heavily
edited for the DSFH, and is in / as a .paths symlink.

Here's some comments on what's in /source/C/include in cLIeNUX Core
(libc.5). Available routines should have *.3.* seedocs in a non-Core
cLIeNUX package.
