The cLIeNUX ABOUT files are context-located descriptions of various
directories. ABOUT files are intended as introductions to the cLIeNUX
file tree, and are named to be easily installed or removed en-masse.
Most have a base filename of ABOUT, and all have the string ABOUT in thier
base name. Simple rm commands with wildcards like rm ABOUT* or rm
/*/ABOUT* should work well once you get tired of looking at them. But
don't do that right away :o)

cLIeNUX now has a non-traditional file namespace. There are symlinks that
resemble the old names with dots added, and the last character of the
traditional name dropped. For example, the /configure directory is
analagous to the traditional unix /etc directory, and there is a /.et
symlinked to /configure. Do an
 	ls -a /
and/or a
 	file /.*
to see what I'm talking about. This approximates the Linux Filesystem
Standard, but out of the user's normal view. This permits friendlifying,
customizing and/or internationalizing the pathnames the user sees, while
giving compromised support for software with dependancies on traditional
pathnames. Allowing installed or imported software to assume the existence
of specific full-path filenames is not a good thing, but hard to avoid
completely.

This particular ABOUT file is /ABOUT, the root ABOUT file in the root
directory of the file tree. All files, devices, mounted filesystems and
filesystem-accessible kernel state information is found in subdirectories
of this directory (or in this directory itself).
