PIT 2, counter 0

The tick, the clocked NMI. colorgaPC will feed the PC speaker at that
rate. CD rate is ~ 360000 BITS/sec. CD audio sucks. I'd LIKE to max out
the NMI at 1.19mhz.

Sending "audio" data serially as bits to a cheap speaker at 1.19 million
bits per second is what my friend Roger Lippincott calls "the moral
equivalent of a low-pass filter". Or maybe an integrator. Regardless of
the correct lingo, things get summed into total analog-like sound-pressure
levels.

This is the realtime service of colorgOS. I don't think Dos or unix use it
on PCs. The IBM/suit blather is that NMI is for system security extreme
scenarios. Suits don't do realtime. If a PC gets a bus error that triggers
an NMI the only valid assumption is that your data is toast already.

That is to say, the RAM check doodad on the PC is useless. It will have no
semantic presence in Ha3sm.
