BUGS

Prefetching is not supported at the moment. :( Forget all the other
stuff from this section.

Currently, their are some misfeatures involved with this version.

1. It does not make a spool directory for outgoing articles. This
is especially important, if you want to read news offline. For
   each news server simply type
   mkdir -p SPOOLDIR/.outgoing
2. It does not create a status file in the outgoing spool directory.
This file records the number of the last article that has been
posted from/stored in the spool directory. For each news server
   simply type
   echo 0 0 >SPOOLDIR/.outgoing/status

COMMENTS

When starting NewsCache the first time, you might want to install it
somewhere with a better or cheaper ineternet connectivity. And take
that spooldirectory home on a ZIP-disk (or something like that) and
unpack it in the spool-directory at home since the articles of all
the newsgroups you want to read will be retrieven. This may be a time
and cost consuming task for the first time.

Please, send comments, bug-reports or bug-fixes to
gschwind@complang.tuwien.ac.at.
