Rename Files

Changes the names of files in the archive. A panel with some input fields will be displayed in the side panel. The box at the top allows you to choose the type of rename that will be done, and the input field is where you type the new text. Clicking the Rename Files button will rename all the selected files on the left, according to the chosen rename type. Rename Files Button The types of renaming are: Add To Back: Adds the new text to the end of the filename Add To Front: Adds the new text to the front of the filename Change Directory: Changes the directory of the file to the new text, or adds a directory if none exists Change Extension: Changes the extension of the file to the new text, or adds an extension if none exists Change Name: Changes the name of the file to the new text. It only changes the name, not the directory or extension. Rename: Changes the complete filename to the new text, including the directory and extension.
