             all the following options are passed to the specified tool;
in DIRECT Mode the denoiser (yuvdenoise/y4mdenoise) is not used by

        -verify
verify the integrity of the burned media; recomended; it may happen
that the DVD burn process shows no errors, but the disk content is
not 100% identical to the source due to a bad media
        -encode <n:m:i> [AVI,MPEG]

               4 libavcodec/mp2 4 as 1 + quality opts
               5 libavcodec/mp3
               6 libavcodec/ac3 for m=[2-4] and i>1 turbo is on
               7 toolame/mp2	    i<=2 for xvid
               8 libfaac/aac
        -telecinesrc [MPEG]
if you use -encode n:0:i in MPEG Mode, encode2mpeg needs to know
if the source NTSC MPEG is telecined, otherwise the stream copy may
not work properly; normally encode2mpeg is able to detect telecined
sources, but, if the source MPEG is mixed, part not telecined and
part telecined, encode2mpeg may fail to detect it. In such case,
you can use this option to specify a telecined source.
        -turbo <0-1> [AVI,MPEG]
disable (0) or force (1) turbo mode for the first pass of N pass
             encoding (N>1)
        -hispeed [AVI,MPEG]
increase the encoding speed of 25-50% (with -encode n:1:1); the
output video stream will be bigger and can have poor quality; this
option is mainly intented for testing, but it can be used if you
want to create more quickly an MPEG-4/AVI or a DVD
        -bframes <0-4> [AVI,MPEG]
specify the number of B frames; if -encode is n:3:i the default 2,
otherwise the default is no B frames; for VCD the default is 2
        -vcustom <libavcodec options> [AVI,MPEG]
specify a custom set of video options for libavcodec, use with
             -encode n:1:i
        -acustom <mp3lame/faac options> [AVI,MPEG]
specify a custom set of lame options (with -encode 2:m:i) or faac
             options (with -encode 8:m:i
        -encsid <sid0,sid1,...>
dump the DVD vobsub, sid is the number you give the -sid option
        -encsdx <sid0,sid1,...>
if you dump subtitle 2 and 4 and you want them to have id 0 and 1
             use -encsid 2,4 -encsdx 0,1
        -encsla <sla0,sla1,...>
             see doc/html/subtitle.html
        -usespeed [DIRECT,MPEG]
do frame rate conversion changing the playback speed; this option
can be used if you are converting from NTSC 24fps, with or without
telecine, to PAL 25fps and viceversa; during normal frame rate
conversion, frames are skipped or duplicated as needed; with this
option all the frames are encoded
        -usesbr [1-6|>100] [AVI,MPEG]
use the suggested video bitrate to set the output stream size
               1 - for 650MB CD 4 - for 2 x 650MB CD
               2 - for 700MB CD (default) 5 - for 2 x 700MB CD
               3 - for 800MB CD 6 - for 2 x 800MB CD
n where n > 100 will set the file size to n MB
with -multiaudio you must to set the streamsize in MB
        -setaspect <n> [AVI,MPEG]
scale and encode the video keeping the required aspect ratio,
if necessary add black lines to keep the final resolution multiple
             of 16; n can be:
                   1 expand 2 shrink >100 set width to n
no black lines are added if n is negative; examples:
               1 a 720x576 16/9 PAL video is encoded at 1024x576
               1 a 720x480 16/9 NTSC video is encoded at 864x480 (bl. lines)
              -1 a 720x480 16/9 NTSC video is encoded at 854x480
               2 a 720x480 4/3 NTSC video is encoded at 640x480
               512 encode the video at 512x384 (4/3) or 512x288 (16/9)
             optimal width:
                640 512 320, 704 576 448 384 (4/3)
                512, 624 368, 654 622 592 542 510 480 398 366 336 (16/9)
        -ofps <n> [AVI]
set the video frame per second of the AVI stream, useful if you
want an unusual value (for example 15 fps)
        -profile <profile name> [AVI]
select a DivX/MPEG-4 profile; run 'encode2mpeg -profile doc' for
more informations and the complete list of available profiles
        -crop <w:h:x:y> [AVI,MPEG]
cropping window. See -vf crop in MPlayer man page.
        -autocrop [AVI,MPEG]
autodetect the cropping window; WARNING: it may not work properly.
        -cpu <n>
number of cpu to use, default all the cpu present in the system
        -interlaced
turn on optimization for interlaced source video.
        -cartoon [1-2] [AVI,MPEG]
turn on optimization for anime/cartoon source video, the argument 2
selects more aggressive options than argument 1 (the default)
        -fixavi [AVI]
use this option if seek or fast forward do not work with your
             player
        -fixasync [AVI]
due to a bug of MEncoder, there could be an a/v sync problem if you
create an AVI with vbr mp3 audio (-encode 3:m:i); this option
enables a different encoding sequence that should avoid it
        -title [DIRECT,MPEG]
the created MPEG will be a title of a multititle DVD
        -titleset "title 1" "title 2" ... [DIRECT,MPEG]
specify the titles of a multititle DVD
        -video|-videos [DIRECT,MPEG]
             syntax: -video <source stream> <options>
             syntax: -videos <video 1> <video 2> ...
make the source stream(s) a chapter of the VCD/SVCD/DVD; it creates
always a binary image (S/VCD) or a DVD filesystem
        -cachedvd <dir> <mount point>
cache the content of a DVD in <dir>; <mount point> is the directory
where the source DVD is mounted
        -savecache [iso] [raid]
burn the content of the cache on a DVD or create only an iso image
(two DVD or two iso images for raid; see the html documentation)
        -removecache
remove the contents of the cache specified with -cachedvd or
             -dvd-device
        -audioonly <audio file> [["@:opt:txt"] [bg image]] [--]
make a video using <audio file> for the audio stream and a static
background for the video stream, opt can be: 0 [bg image scaled to
fit the screen], 1 (default) [bg image scaled keeping its aspect
ratio]; if provided, the string txt is written on the background
image; -- indicates end of options
        -slidefps <n>
fps to use when creating video from pictures, default is 1; if
there is an audio file associated with a picture, the duration of
             the audio file is used
        -slideaudio <audio file>
use the content of <audio file> as audio stream when creating video
from pictures; it works correctly only if used with mf://singlepic
        -norc
do not use the settings in the file $HOME/.encode2mpegrc
        -debug
make a more verbose log file and creates a debug file; if you are
submitting a bug report, use this option and compress and send the
log file and the debug file together with your bugreport
        -allow-unsupported
do not prompt the user to press return if an unsupported version of
             MPlayer is detected
