*** STANDARD DEMOS ***

1) demo-* shows off some of the features of Konch:

  konch demo-standard
  konch -h demo-hosted

2) dlink/dlinkdsl-hosted can get your D-Link DSL router's IP address,
restart PPP, and show the current download/upload speed as the tooltip.

You must edit the variables in dlink/dlinkdsl.conf first, then

  konch -h dlink/dlinkdsl-hosted

dlink/dlinkppp is called by dlinkdsl-hosted. It logs into the router,
tracks the ppp0 network stats, and changes dlinkdsl-hosted's tooltip. It
also makes the icon blink if there is no PPP traffic.

dlink/routerlog is a Perl script that connects to the router via HTTP
downloads the system log, and shows it in a KDialog window. It requires
LWP::UserAgent, URI::URL, and HTTP::Cookies.

Since these scripts just use ordinary Linux commands, they should work
with other Linux-based routers too, as long as their telnet supports an
ordinary (non-terminal) connection.

3) demo_*.py was contributed by thudfoo. Thanks, Dog Walker!

  konch demo_standard.py
  konch -h demo_hosted.py

*** ADVANCED FEATURES ***

1. DCOP

demo-dcop-standard and -hosted show how to publish script functions
via DCOP. You should use kdcop so that exploration is easier. Also, the
"dcop" command only uses the first function it finds that has the
correct number of parameters, so it may fail in certain examples.

dcop-array-std is a simpler DCOP example, but with semi-persistent
Standard-mode arrays, and dynamic menus.

2. Clipboard

clipboard-demo-std demonstrates the use of the clipboard (and selection).
Copy some text, and paste it into the demo (using Edit->Paste). The text
will be converted to PDF. Copy it (using Edit->Copy) and paste it into
a Konqueror file manager window.

You can also select some text (without copying) and click the icon using
the middle mouse button. A dialog will popup to show that the script
received the text.

clipsnip-std is a more practical example. It allows you to copy or select
text, paste it in via Edit->Paste or using mclick respectively, and can
generate a PDF file on demand (View PDF or doubleclick). It also has a
simple DCOP configuration.
