In dos/djgpp are source files specific to the DJGPP version of MacAnova,
the protected mode DOS version. The files are as follows:

  Makefile.djg Makefile for gmake.
chardefs.h Header file needed by readline
control.c Modified source file for GO32
doprnt.c Modified source for gcc library.
exphdlr.c Modified source file for GO32
history.h Header file needed by readline
keymaps.h Header file needed by readline
libreadl.a Library file containing readline functions
readline.c Modified source for much of readline.
readline.h Header file needed by readline
sysdep.h Header file needed by readline

readline.c has changes to handle the INPUTRC file properly and to make
the arrow keys work as they should.

doprnt.c was modified to make %g format output behave correctly.

libreadl.a was made from the distributed version of version 1.1 readline
for use with djgpp. readline.o as made by Makefile.djg supplants the
version in it. Note that readline.c is a combination of many *.c files
in the usual readline distribution. This is the way it was when
retrieved from where it was found (information mislaid).

Makefile.djg assumes libreadl.a is in the source directory. If required
it makes readline.o and doprnt.o. Compilation assumes that chardefs.h,
history.h, keymaps.h, readline.h and sysdep.h are in the source
directory. Of these header files, only keymaps.h has been modified
slightly.

Makefile.djg knows nothing of control.c and exphdlr.c which are modified
versions of files used in building go32, part of the djgpp distribution.
Changes were necessary to allow MacAnova to be interrupted by control
break and not quit on control C. To make MacAnova on a PC using DJGPP
you will need to recreate go32 using these files.
